OK, I almost have my head above water. Things aren’t going well on the food front right now, but I hope to get re-organized and restarted on my goals.
I recently went to a luncheon that talked about how to eat if you are a diabetic. I’m not a diabetic, but my mother always said one of the healthiest things I could do was to look at a diabetic diet and try to apply it to my eating habits. So I am going to give that a try.
As for the counts, I was toying with picking just one — carbs or calories — but I think I see the benefit of counting both, so I will have to work on my addition! LOL
I will start the food diary again on Monday. I know I’m a slacker but I have some a lot of going ons this weekend so I might not be able to keep track of what I’m eating and there is a good possibility there is a burger and fries in my future (quick eats). I’m hoping that isn’t the case, but it is possible.
So bear with me…I will get over the hump and back in the saddle.
