OK, my weekend binge is officially over. Yesterday, was about Taco Bell and hot dogs…and cheesecake.
While Friday was soda, beer, burgers and lots of chips and dip!
Today, was a nice breakfast with an egg and turkey bacon with an English muffin. Lunch at Subway and a Weight Watchers mac and cheese and two deviled eggs.
OK, as far as Ginger binges go, not to bad…I have certainly eaten worse. And I’m glad I did it but now I’m ready for the right road again!

Have you tried to reframe the emotional/judgemental perspective you have with food choices? Can you wrap your mind around making food the fuel for your body and mind to be productive and happy. Making good food choices requires a bit of planning in preparation for each day. This is self care and you deserve it. The better you prepare yourself and your meal plans, the less likely you will be to fall in the quick fix or binge eating habits. I pack my lunch and snacks ahead for every day and many times I don’t even get around to eating everything I have on hand. For me the trouble begins at home at night when all my husband’s junk foods are on hand and I give in because I’m tired and stressed and I don’t have a specific plan. Boy, listen to my own advice. I need an evening plan!
I think having a food plan for each day is a good idea. I’m hoping when things settle down I can plan it out a little better.
On the junk food, Mr. X isn’t a big junk food eater outside of the occasional item, so it hasn’t been too hard. I have also found items like the Smart Pop that let me have the foods I really like but in the right portion.
As long as a binge don’t become habit you will succeed. Once it becomes the norm, that is when the problem starts.
