Bay Clinic
The Bay Clinic, LLP located directly across from Bay Area Hospital at 1750 Thompson Road, Coos Bay, OR 97420, is a health care facility that provides physicians in six different specialties. The clinic offers services in Allergy, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics and General Surgery.For the patient's convenience we provides a full service laboratory and x-ray department, which includes bone density testing. The Bay Clinic is committed to bringing providers to care for our community. We have several new providers on staff. Dr. Mary Moore is Bay Clinic's newest pediatrician. Dr. Moore begins her practice at Bay Clinic this month.
Also new in Pediatrics is Sara Brakebush, PNP. Sara is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
Dr. Kathleen Brown in our Dermatology Department has a new Adult Nurse Practitioner, Galina Warren. Dr. Brown and Galina Warren offer services in the diagnosis and medical and/or surgical treatment of diseases and conditions of the skin, hair and nails. Commonly treated problems include skin cancer, moles, rashes, acne, psoriasis and eczema.
Dr. Joseph Morgan has provided care in the Allergy Department for over 30 years. He provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment for nasal and sinus allergies, hay fever, asthma, food allergies and related diseases.
Dr. Allan Inouye is a Thoracic, Vascular and General surgeon. He provides diagnosis and treatment of diseases, injuries and illnesses requiring surgical care.
The Internists, along with two nurse practitioners provide comprehensive health supervision of adults. This includes physical examination and management of acute and chronic illnesses. On staff at Bay Clinic's Internal Medicine Department is Terrance Bach, M.D., Peter Lund, M.D., Alina Rizea, M.D., Greg Schandelmeier, M.D., Hasan Akhtar, M.D., Andrew Maslona, M.D., Kelly Smith, F.N.P. and Brian Barger, F.N.P.
The Obstetrics & Gynecology Department includes Eric Amend, M.D., Stephan Groth, M.D., and Julie Butts, C.N.M. They provide women with care before, during and after childbirth. They also specialize in problems of infertility, medical and surgical diagnosis and treatment of gynecological problems.
The Pediatrics & Adolescents Department specializes in the comprehensive care of infants, children and adolescents. This includes health supervision, management of acute and chronic illness, treatment of minor injuries, the evaluation of growth and development, behavioral and school problems. The pediatric physicians are Brian Gumbs, M.D., Michael Lanza, M.D., Mary Moore, M.D. and Jon Yost, M.D. Bay Clinic also has a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Sara Brakebush.
The Bay Clinic pediatricians along with North Bend Medical Center pediatricians have formed the Bay Area After Hours Clinic. The After Hours Clinic provides pediatric and adolescent services Monday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The After Hours Clinic offers many benefits to our community, one of which is that it allows working parents to bring their children in to a pediatrician without having to take time off work. The After Hours Clinic is located in Bay Clinic at 1750 Thompson Rd., Coos Bay, OR.
