Blanco Middle School

Olivia Hein Olivia Hein is an eighth grader at Blanco School in Langlois. Olivia has a contagious enthusiasm for life and an imperturbable attitude. She is an excellent reader and writer. Olivia has complete and detailed science observations, asks great questions and is aggressive about learning math. She is enthusiastic in PE, a natural leader and a positive role model to her peers. Olivia is also a valued participant in Knowledge Bowl, volleyball, basketball, track and softball. Her plans for the future include college, music, the performing arts, basketball, softball, foreign languages and travel.

Bennett Wahl Bennett Wahl is a seventh grader from Blanco School in Langlois. Bennett exemplifies academic excellence. She is inquisitive, takes meticulous notes, and continues to learn more from her thoughtful class participation. She sets high goals for herself, works hard to achieve them and takes pride in her work. Bennett has read more than 130 AR books in the last two years. She also participates in Knowledge Bowl, cross country, basketball and track. Her plans for the future include college and traveling to different places around the world.
