Kodye Harvey It is not often that you come across a student so willing to accept challenges, whether they be academic or nonacademic. Kodye Harvey is a person willing to accept, and even create, challenges in and out of school. Evidence of this can be found in her outstanding grades in all of her classes. Being one of her teachers, I often will use her completed assignments as examples for the other students. You would also notice that she competes in many sports: volleyball, basketball and track. There are so many other aspects that you would not be able to easily see: Her volunteering to help out friends with homework and social issues or her volunteering to work for her family business. Kodye does all of these things without expecting praise. However, what is most impressive of all is how Kodye will go beyond what is expected.
