Pacific High School

Phillip Maddi Phillip Maddi is the son of Christeen Maddi of Bandon. Phillip has demonstrated excellence in leadership skills. He attended the Ford Leadership Institute, which not only taught leadership skills, but provided an opportunity to collaborate with other communities. Phillip is currently the ASB president and has served in class level leadership as well as club leadership positions. He has participated in cross country and basketball. Phillip is a creative planner with an abundance of energy that allows him to conceive meaningful projects and make sure they become reality. Phillip will be one of our future leaders through his only self determination and perseverance. Phillip was selected as Pacific High School's salutatorian for the Class of 2009.

Anastasia Newman Anastasia Newman is the daughter of Mark and Shauna Newman of Port Orford. She is the president of Future Business Leaders of America and actively involved in National Honor Society. She has been a member of the varsity soccer team as well as played on the junior varsity basketball team. Ana performs in the Pacific High Choir. Her musical talents do not end with her voice but carry through to performances in Bell Choir and Strings. Ana has performed numerous hours of community service by volunteering at Camp Fircroft and vacation bible school. Ana has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout her high school career. Ana was chosen Pacific High School's valedictorian for the class of 2009.
