My chest hurts

I doubt it’s lung cancer. But maybe I’m dying at the ripe age of 30.

It feels the worst in the middle of my upper back area. Woke up this morning feeling this way.

I’m too cheap to go to the doctor — I’m trying to get out of debt, not into it. And I’d have to be falling down dead or bleeding severely to go to the ER.

I doubt it’s from smoking. Haven’t done much of that lately. Just one cig on Sunday.

That’s all I have to report.

I hope it isn’t cancer but without a doctor’s diagnosis, you won’t know until it’s too late. Upper back pain MIGHT be a misaligned vertebrae that a trip to the chiropractor could fix. That would be my first step if I didn’t have insurance and didn’t want to go to a medical doctor.

Here are some statistics I found for you:

“Lung cancer is one of the most common cancers worldwide, accounting for 1.2 million new cases annually.

From 2000-2004, no-one was diagnosed under the age of age 20; 0.2% between 20 and 34 (this is your age group so the math says 2400 were diagnosed each of those years); 2.0% between 35 and 44; 8.8% between 45 and 54; 21.0% between 55 and 64; 32.4% between 65 and 74; 28.4% between 75 and 84; and 7.0% 85+ years of age. 16% of lung and bronchus cancer cases are diagnosed while the cancer is still confined to the primary site (localized stage). Which means 84% have metastasized (spread to other areas).”

Good luck and hope you’re feeling better soon.
